If you ask me 3 months ago what the hardest thing I had ever done in my life was, I would of without a doubt said cross country. running. racing.

if you asked me today what the hardest thing I have ever done in my life was, I would say not running. continuing to believe and be faithful in my abilities even when I could barely stand. watching my teammates do everything I love.

not running is so, so, so, much harder than running. remember that.

  • Question: how should I train in between xc and indoor? I'm taking this week off (and maybe next week as well if my shins aren't better) so that leaves 4-5 weeks of training on my own. what should I be doing to prep? (I'll be running 3k and 1500 if that helps) - Anonymous
  • Answer:

Weights, core, distance, and maybe a few intervals, fartleks, and tempo runs. Cross training helps too. Any more questions or details, ask!
